to Afghan Students (Prime Minister’s Directives)
Phase I, II & III
 Introduction
• This Scheme is a component of overall
development Activities in Afghanistan under
CRRA (Committee for Reconstruction &
Rehabilitation of Afghanistan).
• CRRA will release total cost of the Project
altogether and will be released to HEC through
PSDP as per annual plan of the financial
requirement mentioned in the PC-I.
• The CRRA in its 16th meeting held on 22nd
February 2021 decided that Scholarship program
for Afghan students may be planned for a decade.
Initially 4500 more scholarships will be launched.

• Capacity Building of Afghan Government officials
Objectives
• To create Pakistan’s goodwill among the people of
Afghanistan.
• To establish professional linkages between the
sister institutions of the two countries.
• To promote human resource development for
reconstruction of Afghanistan.
• To develop people to people contacts between the
two neighboring countries.
• Linkages between Afghan and Pakistan
educational institutions.
