Mask Study Deception

CDC Makes this claim on their website:

It’s the CDC so it’s Science right?

It’s a CDC Study of masking in schools, it

must be very compressive, looking at Data
from all over the country over a long period
of time to carefully draw conclusions right?

CDC MMWR October 1 2021

 “The association between school mask policies

and school-associated COVID-19 outbreaks in K–
12 public noncharter schools open for in-person
learning in Maricopa and Pima Counties during
July 15–August 31, 2021, was evaluated” .
They only looked at 2 counties for 34
school days between July and August of
2021.

Maricopa’s first day of school in 2021 is July 22nd and Pima’s is August 4th
Ok, but even so, outbreaks are pretty serious
right?
CDC MMWR October 1 2021

 “A school-associated outbreak was defined as the

occurrence of two or more laboratory-confirmed COVID-
19 cases§ among students or staff members at the school
within a 14-day period and at least 7 calendar days after
school started”
So if any two people got sick within 14
days of each other it was an “Outbreak”
even if the two people had never been
near each other!

By waiting 7 days after the start of school, they reduced the study duration to a
maximum of 27 school days!
Ok, so they did two counties for 27 days
and have a low bar for an “outbreak”. So
what did they find?

Of the schools that had outbreaks (Remember that
only has to be two people in 14 days) they
occurred in 59.2% of schools not requiring masks
and 40.9% of schools requiring masks (For a total
of 100.1 %, their math not mine!)
WAIT….if masking is so effective how
come nearly half of the masked schools
had outbreaks? 40.9% doesn't seem all
that effective….

Good Question! But wait, there’s more!

 I took their numbers as published and
calculated what percentage of Masked
schools had outbreaks versus unmasked
schools.
Suddenly it looks different……

What the actual…..

 The CDC used a 27 day study of 2 counties out of the entire United States that showed
masks to have a very minor if any effect on COVID infections to justify masking over
50 million K-12 schools in the United States, 8 hours a day indefinitely. THIS IS JUST
ONE MASK STUDY! Many of the others use very similar short data ranges, outside of
surges, with only minor improvement in the numbers to make wild claims about the
effectiveness of masks. Based on their own numbers the masks barely worked if at all
and so far NO ONE wants to study if they were effective against Omicron. One look at
the infection graph for Omicron shows the vaccines did nothing stop the spread and
neither did the masks.
