01 SIEVE ANALYSIS
To determine the percentage of each size of grain that is
contained within a soil sample.
It is necessary to predict the quality and performance of the soil
sample.
02 SLUMP TEST
To determine the workability or consistency of concrete mix prepared
at the laboratory or the construction site during the progress of the
work.
Does not demand a long-time period to get the result.
Slump Test
The slump test is a widely used and important procedure in the field of concrete testing and
construction. It is primarily used to assess the workability of freshly mixed concrete, providing valuable
information about the consistency and quality of the concrete mixture.
Compression test
The conclusion of a compressive testing procedure depends on the specific context in which it was
conducted. Compressive testing is a mechanical test used to determine how a material behaves under
axial loads when subjected to a crushing force. It's important to note that the specific parameters,
standards, and goals of the compressive test will influence the nature of the conclusion. Whether the
material is tested for quality control, research, or design validation, the results should be interpreted in
the appropriate context to make informed decisions about material selection, product design, or
structural integrity.
