ANNUAL ACCOMPLISHMENT REPORT

INTRODUCTION SCHOOL LIBRARY ACCOMPLISHMENT

A library is a room or building where books,
pamphlets, magazines, newspapers, cassettes and
videos are kept together. These items are known as
the library's stock. As stated in DECS Order No. 6 s.
1998, every school must have a functional library.
The school library supports the student's studies. It
make a difference to students’ understanding and
achievement and provide support for teaching and
learning throughout the school. Every library
collection will have information that can improve
students' understanding of the subjects they learn at
school and increase their knowledge of the world.
To realize the program mandated by DepEd,
MPPVMHS has its school library covered in one
room under the school Learning Resource Center
which is both managed by its LR Coordinator and
the Library Coordinator. During the SY 2021 – 2022,
the operation and utilization of the school library
was halted due to the pandemic where face-to-face
classes was suspended. No activities and events
conducted. However, the facility is maintained and
develop in spite of the threat of termites.
 Conducted a Library Book Inventory (softcopy
submitted online through Google drive)
 Labeled 170 books with Accession Number
 Plastically covered the 170 books
 Created and recorded a Library Book Accession

 Conducted a Virtual Reading Month Celebration
through the help of school English Coordinator

BEST PRACTICES
The new normal in this time of pandemic has
brought more challenges to us in the field of
education. One of the challenges is how to utilize the
school library to make it functional. As school library
coordinator, the one that I may probably considered
as best practice for this time of pandemic is the
creation of our school library FB page as suggested
by our Division Librarian although it needs
improvement to make it functionally active for next
school year.

School was opened last August 2007. It was
formally known as Bais City National High School -  Not enough books/resources in the library
Tamisu Extension and was renamed as it is now last  Threat of termites

under Region 7. It offers Junior High School from
Grade 7 to 10 and Senior High School from Grade
11 to 12 under the Academic Track. The school
caters the needs and potentials of the students from
Barangay Tamisu and its neighboring barangays;
namely Mandalupang, Matambok, and Alangilanan
of the municipality of Manjuyod, Barangay

At present, the school has 15 regular

teachers and two PARA teachers paid by the
government of our province. For SY 2021 – 2022, it
has an enrolment of 273 for junior learners and 93
for senior learners giving a total of 366 enrollees. Its
mode of delivery for learning is through printed
modular, the new normal brought by the pandemic.
