Module 1: Continuing Professional
Development and Continuing Education

• Individual ,Unit based & Facility learning need identified during


December 2021 and had meeting with ADNA & NM to review.
• Scrutinized and send to PD Team.
• Final list was prepared after the meeting with PD team on 02/03/2022
and corrections are made accordingly.
• Started training based on the above.

NMPDM Modules :
Module 1: ACHIEVMENTS

1. CE & CETH monitoring record is collected from each centre at the end of Month.
2. Follow up Preceptors & Charge nurses/ UM in each unit .
3. Continuous learning needs assessment (staff, unit and facility) according to the Need.
4. Guiding staffs in choosing training topics from Maharati.
5. According to CE plan ,courses send for accreditation from TDC.
NMPDM Modules :
Module 2 Career Development/Role Transition Program

 Meeting & Awareness provided & discussed about the new pathway for Role transition during Monthly Meeting
with ADNA, NM & UM.
 Finalizing nominees for Interview and planned for Mentorship: awaiting for confirmation.
 Encouraging Diploma holders for their Career Development.
 4 Nurses have started bridging BSN in 2022.

• Formulated Journal Club with Team Leader and Facilitators from each
Phc
• First JC was conducted on “HPV Vaccination
• Second JC was on MMR & Egg Allergy
• “Presentation and critique conducted on related topics
• Planned to implement JC1 to Research & second to Ebp.

• Plan to implement John Hopkin’s Model Evidence informed practices and implement the same for2022

Effect of communication on pain during intravenous cannulation.

Using non-humidified oxygen for adults requiring low-flow oxygen.

• Ajman PHC/ PMD PD Team has:


• 2 CRN
• 7 new preceptors are trained in March 2022
• Total of 22 trained preceptors are in Ajman.
• Preceptors are assessing competencies through Elsevier & in
Clinical settings
• Regular Follow up with Preceptors through Visits, meetings &
Preceptor Group chat
