Unit-I Electrostatic field

Electrostatic fields-Boundary condition

 The conditions that the field must satisfy at interface of two media
 Helpful to find the field on one side if the field on other side is known
Boundaries considered
 Interface between Dielectric to dielectric
 Interface between Dielectric to conductor
 Interface between free space to conductor
Conditions at the boundary between two Dielectric media with and as dielectric constants
The electric field or= electrostatic
0 (or) x =0 field is conservative in a closed path.
