Data Sheet
Coal feeder body
• The body can withstand an explosion pressure of 0.35 MPa (50 psi). All
components of the coal feeder in contact with the coal flow are made of type
304 stainless steel.
• The shaping plate (near the coal exit) trims the coal flow to form a uniform coal
flow section, which can maximize the weighing accuracy.
Overhaul doors
• Overhaul doors are installed at both ends and sides of
the coal feeder to facilitate maintenance and
inspection. The observation windows on the end door
can observe the internal conditions of the coal feeder
during operation.
• Work lights installed above both ends and can be
replaced outside the coal feeder, for observing the
internal conditions.
Belts and drives
• The belt is supported by a main drive roller at the coal exit end, a slotted self-
cleaning passive roller at the coal inlet end, and a belt support plate below
the coal inlet itself. It is equipped with a tensioning roller to tension the belt
with its constant gravity. It cooperates with the adjusting bolt at the end of the
passive roller to form the optimal tensioning mechanism. After the coal is
transported to the coal outlet, a flexible replaceable rubber scraper is
provided on the outside of the belt. The scraper can continuously remove the
material stuck on the load surface of the belt.
Speed Sensor
• A speed sensor is installed on the shaft end of the belt motor. This sensor
provides a belt speed pulse signal during calibration. The pulse signal
determines the number of belt rotations during calibration. The sensor
provides a belt speed signal for the electronic metering instrument when the
coal feeder is running.
Belt no-coal alarm
• The rotary leaf alarm installed on the belt is used to check whether there
is coal on the belt. The alarm component includes a stainless steel baffle
installed on the horizontal shaft end and a micro switch on the other end.
Reduce the contact closure of the micro switch, this signal is used to
provide the user with a no-coal alarm on the belt
Coal blocking alarm
• A coal blocking sensor is installed at the exit of the coal
feeder. When a coal blocking occurs, the sensor sends
a coal blocking signal to the control cabinet. The control
cabinet will display a coal blocking indicator and stop
the belt operation.
