The use of the Present Perfect Tense
1. Digunakan untuk kejadian yang baru saja terjadi, biasanya merupakan informasi terbaru.

Ow, I’ve cut my finger. (=I have..)


The road is closed. There’s been an accident. (=There has been…)
Police have arrested two men in connection with the robbery .

2. Digunakan untuk kejadian yang telah terjadi dan ada hubungannya dengan sekarang.
Kejadian di masa lalu, tapi hasilnya masih terlihat sekarang.

Tom has lost his key. (= kuncinya gak ada sama Tom sampai sekarang)
He told me his name, but I’ve forgotten it. ( = sekarang ak belum bisa ingat namanya)
She has gone to Bali.
(= dia sudah pergi ke Bali, sekarang orangnya tidak ada
