Computers connect to each other


and to the internet via wires, cables,
radio, wave, and other types of
networking infrastructure, All data
sent over the internet is translated
into pulses of light or electricity
called bits and then interpreted by
the receiving computer

• Communication: The world has definitely become a smaller


place with peaple from farawy places being able to
communicate in real time and cheaply with the help of the
internet.
• Education: The internet provides acess to education too
with online distance learning courses becoming common
this days.
• Transactions: No more standing in the queues to pay bills
• Shopping: Times have changed and now you can shop for
almost anything sitting on your computer

In terms of its advantages, we see the Internet as a beneficial and


powerful tool for individual empowerment, innovation and
progress.Even commerce is becoming easier with the Internet. A good
example of this is shop store (EKOUTA's business).

However, we are concerned about the protection of our personal data


against scammers and cybercriminals. We therefore call on our
governments to take more stringent data protection measures.

The internet has profoundly impacted our generation,


influencing communication, access to information,
and social dynamics. It has facilitated global
connectivity, transformed how we learn, and shape
new forms of entertainment. However, concerns about
privacy, misinformation, and digital dependence have
also emerged as significant considerations.
