WHAT IS Mhealth?

MHealth an abbreviaton for mobile health,a term used for the practice of medicine
and public health supported by mobile devices.

The term is most commonly used in reference to using mobile communication


devices,such as mobile phones,tablet computers and PDAs,for health services
and information

MHealth applications include the use of mobile devices

in : Collecting community and clinical health data

Delivery of healthcare information to practitoners,researchers

Real-time monitoring of patient vital signs

The use of mobile health apps has improve patient experience,


especially with regard to accessing health information, making
physician-patient communication more convenient, ensuring
transparency in medical charge, and ameliorating short-term
outcomes. All of these may contribute to positive health outcomes.
Therefore, we should encourage the adoption of mobile health
apps in health care settings so as to improve patient experience.
