    • Home page of NCBI was opened
    • In left box from dropdown menu gene was
    selected
    • In right box gene name “ckit” was typed
    • Clicked on search
    Steps
    • A page was opened which contained information about ckit
    gene in gene database

    • Many result of search was found

    • Open the result of your interest

    • As my interest was in homo sapiens

    • So, I clicked on first link whose gene id was 3815


    Steps
    • After clicking on the first link another page was
    opened which contained detailed information about
    ckit gene in Homo sapiens
    • In this way I found information about ckit gene from
    NCBI as in fig
