Purpose

This study investigates the association between tiredness during

studying and cardiovascular endurance in adolescents aged 12-15 years
old.
Hypothesis

Adolescents who feel tired easily during their studies have different
physical fitness scores than those who do not.
02
Methods
Sample
● 1686 Korean adolescents, who completed the Physical Activity
Readiness Questionnaire (PAR-Q), participated in the
cardiovascular endurance test.

● The study included a total of 1686 adolescents whose ages ranged

from 12 to 15 years (comprising 7th to 10th grade).
Measures

"How much tiredness do you typically experience during your studies?"

No such problem (n = 460) = Group 1

Have a slight problem (n = 646) = Group 2

DV
Have some problems (n = 450) = Group 3
Tiredness during
studying Have big problems (n = 130) = Group 4
Measures

Cardiovascular endurance in this study was assessed

utilizing the FITNESSGRAM (Institute, 2017) and
EURO FIT (COUNCIL, 1988) test batteries

Analysis
● The demographic characteristics, encompassing gender, age,
height, and weight of the participants

● A one-way analysis of variance (ANOVA)

● Post-hoc analysis with Bonferroni's correction

● Cohen's d effect size was utilized

● STATA statistical software package version 17.0 (Stata

Results
● Report all the statistical results that are essential and relevant
to your research questions (e.g., parameter estimates, statistical
significance, confidence interval, effect size, etc).
● Report follow-up test when it is applicable.
● If applicable, check whether the assumptions underlying the
statistical technique that you used are tenable.
● Use tables and figures to present the results in a neat and
organized way.

1. Equipment: You will need a long rope that can withstand the
tension of pulling. The length of the rope depends on the number
of participants

2. Setting up: Mark a center line on the ground, and place a marker
or flag at the center point of the line

3. Teams: Form 2 teams with the same number of participants

4. Gameplay: The objective of the game is to pull the rope in your

team's direction, trying to make the opposing team cross the center
line. The team that successfully pulls the opposing team across the
center line wins the round
