School hours from 8:30 am to 4 pm with 8 periods, one lasting
30 minutes. Remove certain subjects and add sports
facilities. Ensure equal PE time for all grades, with 4
lessons weekly. Reduce English local lessons to one,
conduct monthly sports facility maintenance, and utilize
roof space for additional sports. Increase ECA time post-
lunch, organize more inter-scahool events, and replace one
language science lesson. Expand study areas and sports
options, offering more ECA subjects.

Plans
Moving to the timetable, we would like to
change the timetable so that it would fit:

-We would like to have 5 PE lessons per week.

But why? It would be better to have a physical
activities outside to rest ourselves instead of
having lessons inside the class. Whats more
exciting to have time to play the sport you want?

-Next, we would like to remove useless subjects

like Vietnamese Civics, HDTTHN. Because we
don’t actually learn in the periods of these
subjects.

-Finally, we would decide that the school should

end earlier to have more time to do the things
we want. The fact that having more free time
just gives them peace and time to do other
things.

Benefits of our schedule
Our schedule has a later start time. Our reason for this
is because as students ourselves most students don’t
get enough sleep and can barely open their eyes in the
morning. Early school start times have also been
recognized as one of the leading causes in bad sleep in
teenagers worldwide. Studies have shown that students
who attend in schools with later start times, get 4.5%
higher grade on their final exams. As well as a few
extra points on the ACT and 150 extra points in Verbal
SAT and 50 extra points in Math SAT
More Benefits
To go in depth with some of our plan, PE actually
helps you become more better and trains your
general skills such as timing, etc... It also
gives some valuable lessons and motivation to
get better for yourself.

Going home earlier in time gives us time to

relax and time for homework. It also gives
students more time for other personal
activities.

Changes to VAS
sports
Sports competition
We are going to get other campus to have a sports
competition like soccer, basketball, badminton,…
once in a while like VAS olympic or VAS Got
Talent.
Budgets
So let’s say our school is half of this plot
of land. And let’s say a reasonable price
of land is like 320 dollars per m2 of land
because of how dense the city is. With
that because the teacher said the budget
is half of our school or enough for some
renovations. 320 x 1100 so we have
roughly 350,000 dollars to play around
with which is A LOT of money to have for
some renovations.
Badminton
We decided to improve the badminton
courts because the badminton courts
have a rough floor so its very easy to get
injured on and there is just not enough
badminton courts for the whole school.
The lines are so long just to play for
even half a minute. For context, the lines
can extend to about a quarter of the
badminton court. We need to change
from cement to a floor mat because
students feel it is soft and easy to
footwork.
New Sport: Tennis
We are gonna include Tennis because a lot of
students want it. Tennis has a lot of great benefits
like better mental health, better physical health,
tennis also enhances flexibility and coordination.
Because tennis requires full coordination of the
body and a lot of other factors are required for the
sport. Tennis also improves hand to eye
coordination. It also helps kids with sportsmanship,
playing together in a team and critical thinking
skills.
New Sport: Billiards
Billiard is one of the sports that the
students suggest the most. We added
billiard because it can help them train
they’re critical thinking and improve their
cognitive skills. It helps us improve our
concentration and strategy.
