Session Planning

Warm up session
Time: 15
Description:
5 Laps around the turf, Dynamic stretching, Football game( with 4 touch
rule at second half (10 minutes)
Water Break
Time: 2 minutes
Stick and Ball work

Time: 10 minutes
Description:
1. Push pass- Players 5 feet apart pushing the ball to one another
2. Slap Hit- Players 10 feet apart slap hitting the ball
3. Forehand Hit- Using the whole length of the field, players do the
forehand hit
4. Mobile Reception- With the forehand hit, players will have to do the
mobile reception moving to their right (and left) and then back to
their original starting point and then do a forehand hit to the other
teammate.

Time- 2 minutes
Drill 1

Time-10 minutes
Forehand Reception and Backhand Reception- Four groups of Three facing
each other in a vertical line across the field, three cones in the middle of the
field. Players will have to make a forehand and backhand reception going
around the cones and then pass the ball off to their same group and so it
continues. After 5 minutes the cones will be replaced by a defender where the
same skill is used to beat the defender.
Drill 2
Time- 10 minutes
Description-
Three groups of 4 with one group on the base line while the other two
groups apart from each other on the field vertically and at the half way
line. Group A passes to group B which makes a mobile reception and the
pass it to group C which makes a run to the top of the D doing a forehand
reception and shot on goal.
Water Break
Time- 2 minutes
Full Court Game
Time- 10 minutes, two 5 minutes half
Description-
Two teams of 6 will be picked to play against each other. Fair play for the
first five minutes and then after half time, 3 or 4 of the 6 teammates must
touch the ball before a goal is scored.
Warm Down
Time- 10 minutes
Description=
Dynamic stretches starting from hand to feet to ground.
