INAASAHANG BUNGA NG PAGKATUTO:
· Kaya kong talakayin ang suliraning pangkabuhayan
pagkatapos ng digmaan at naging pagtugon sa mga
suliranin.
· Kaya kong talakayin ang ugnayang Pilipino-
Amerikano sa konteksto ng kasunduang militar na
nagbigay-daan sa pagtatayo ng base-militarng Estados
Unidos sa Pilipinas.
· Kaya kong ipaliwanag ang epekto “colonial
mentality” pagkatapos ng ikalawang Digmaang

 Pagpapahayag ng kasarinlan ng Pilipinas
ang pamhalaang komonwelt ng Pilipinas ay patuloy na
umiral sa Washington D,C , USA kahit nasapailalim ang bansa
sa kapangyarihan ng mga Hapones. Nanungkulan si Quezon
bilang pangulo ng Komonwelt hanggang sa siya ay namatay.
Humalili sa kanya ang pangalawang Pangulong si Sergio
Osmena.
 Tinupad ng Estados Unidos ang pangako nitong
pagkakaloob ng kasarinlan sa Pilipinas tulad ng itinatadhana
sa Batas Tydings-McDuffie. Nang mamatay si Pngulong
Roosevelt ng US noong ikaw-12 ng Abril, 1945 ay humalili sa
kanya ang pangalawang pangulo si Harry S, Truman.
Ipinagpatuloy ni Truman ang Programa ni Roosevelt para sa
Pilipinas, partikular na ang pagkakaloob ng kalayaan sa
Pilipinas sa ika-4 ng Hulyo 1946, gaya ng ipinangako ng
Amerika na tutulungan ang bansa sa pagbangon nito
pagkatapos ng matinding dagok na dinanas sa nagdaang
digmaan pandaigdig.
 Bilang tanda ng pagpapahayag sa kasarinlan ng Pilipinas
ay binasa ni Paul V, McNutt, komisyonado ng Amerika, ang
pahayag ni Truma na nagsabing: “the united States of
Amerkica hereby withdraws and surrenders all right of
passion, supervision, jurisdiction, control or sovereignty now
existing and exercised by the United States of America in and
over the territory and people of the Philippines and on behalf
of the United State of America, I do hereby recognize the
independence of the Philippines as a separate and self-
governing nation and acknowledge the authority and control
over the same of the Government instituted by the people
thereof under the constitution no in force”
Pagkatapos nito ay ibinaba ang bandaling
Amerikano. Itinaas naman ang bandilang
Pilipino bilang tanda ng pagwawakas ng
kapangyarihan ng Estados Unidos sa
Pilipinas bilang iang ganap na estados na
ngayo’y kabilang na sa mga bansang
malalaya at nagsarili.
 Hamon at suliranin sa kasarinlan pagkataposng
ikawalawang digmaan pandaigdig
Malaking ang pinsalang natamo ng Pilipinas dulot ng
nagdaang digmaang pandaigdig. Kaya naman, nang maging
isang ganap na Republikang ang Pilipinas noong 1946 ay
naharap ito sa malalaking suliranin tulad ng sumusunod:
1. Pagsasagawa ng malaking pagbabagong-tatag
upang muling maibangon at maitayo ang mga
nawasak na mga tirahan at gusali.
2. Pagresolba sa pagkakaroon ng malaking
kakulangan sa mga hayop na gagamitin sa
pagsasaka na nangamatay sanhi ng digmaan
3. Pagsasaayos ng mga taniman at sakahan
upang muling mapakinabangan at mataniman
4. Paglutas sa suliranin sa salapi dulot ng
pagkabangkarote ng pamahalaan sanhi ng pananakop
ng mga Hapones.
5. Pagsasaayos ng mga industriyang nasira sa
pamamagitan ng pag-aangkat ng bagong makinarya.
6. Pag-aangkop ng sistema ng edukasyon sa bagong
kalagayan ng bansa .
7. Pag-aangat sa pagpapahalagang-moral at espiritwal
ng mga Pilipinong lubos na naapektuhan sanhi nh
pananakop ng mga Hapones at ng nagdaang digmaan.
 Suliraning pangkabuhayan at panlipunan

Tinatayang pangalawa ang Pilipinas sa Warsaw, poland
