Ang mga ngipin at ilang buto nito ay nagsilbing
mga graba at hanggahan.
Ang bungo nito ay inilagay sa itaas
ng mundo at nagtalaga ng apat na
duwende sa apat na sulok nito.
Ang mga duwendeng ito ay
pinangalanang Silangan, Kanluran,
Timog at Hilaga.

Ginamit ang kilay ni Ymir upang lumikha ng


kagubatan sa buong mundo na magpoprotekta
upang hindi makapasok dito ang mga higante.
Tinawag nila itong Midgardo o Middle Earth
Lumikha sila ng isang lugar para sa mga liwanag na nakakawala sa Muspleheim, isang
mundo na nag-aapoy at inilayo nila ito sa mundo. Ang mga liwanag nito ang nagsisilbing
bituin, araw at buwan
Ang maitim subalit napakagandang anak na babae ng isang higante na pinangalanang
