The ESD tools are
Anti-static wrist wrap
and Anti-static mat.
How to use properly
theAnti-static wrist
wrap
First wrap the strap
around your wrist and
secure it using the snap or
Velcro. The metal on the
back of the wrist strap
must remain in contact
your skin at all times.
Snap the connector at the end
of the wire to the wrist wrap, and
connec to other end either to the
equipment or to the same
groundingpoint that the antistatic
mat is connected to.
How can we use the
Antistatic mat
properly?
First we must lay the mat on
the workspace next to or
under the grounding point
Clip the mat to the case to
provide a grounded surface on
which you can place parts as
you remove them from the
system.

use this type of screwdriver
to puncture anything. This
will damage the head of the
screwdriver
Hex driver- Only use
this tool on bolts that
have hexagonal heads
(six-sided). Do not use a
hex driver that is too
large for the bolt that are
using.
Part retriever,Needle-nose
pliers, or tweezers - These
tools are the best tool to used
to get smaller things, and this
is not designed to scratch or
hit any components when
using these tool
 How do I properly
use the cleaning tools
in different parts of
the computer?
Computer Cases and
Monitors - Clean computer
cases and the outside of
monitors with a mild
cleaning solution on a
damp, lint free cloth
LCD Screens - Do not use
ammoniated glass
cleaners or any solution
on an LCD. Harsh
chemicals will damage the
coating on the screen.
CRT Screens - To clean CRT
screens , dampen a soft ,
clean lint-free cloth with
distilled water and wipe
the screen from top to
bottom.
Keyboard- to clean
those part you can use
compresses air, hand
held vacuum cleaner
with a brush
attachment..
Mouse- Use glass cleaner
and a soft cloth to clean
the outside of the
mouse. Do not spray
glass cleaner directly on
the mouse.
