COMPANY

NDDB (NATIONAL DAIRY DEVELOPMENT BOARD)


In the year 1964, the Prime Minister of India, Shri Lal Bahadur Shastri desired that a ‘body’ should be set up, with the government’s
assistance, which help to replicate the Anand pattern of Dairy cooperatives in other parts of the country. And thus, the ministry of
agriculture & irrigation, government of India constituted the National Dairy Development Board (NDDB) in September, 1965 under
the societies registration act.
PCDF (PRADESHIK COOPERATIVE DAIRY FEDERATION)
PCDF was established in the year 1962 with the aim to develop cooperative based organized dairying in the state. PCDF is an
organization that has helped to free the milk producers from the exploitation of middle man for years in the milk business & a direct
contact was established between the milk producers & consumers.

Towards fulfilment of the national objective of making India self sufficient in milk production, Dugdh Utpadak Sahkari Sangh Ltd.,
INTRODUCTION OF THE TOPIC

 I have studied about Job Description & Job Specification (Outbound) under the Head- Human Resources & Admin, Mr.
Subhanwesha Mahapatra & the Managing Director Mr. R. K Saigal.
 Parag is a brand of DUSS Ltd., Varanasi which is a dairy co-operative.
 JOB DESCRIPTION: Job description includes basic job-related data that is useful to advertise a specific job & attract a pool of
talent. It includes information such as job title, job location, reporting to and of employees, job summary, nature & objectives of a
job, tasks & duties to be performed, working conditions etc.

 JOB SPECIFICATION: Job Specification is a written statement of educational qualifications, specific qualities, level of
experience, physical, emotional, technical, & communication skills required to perform a job, responsibilities involved in a job &
other unusual sensory demands.
VISION & MISSION

 Vision:
1) To increase our national footprint while procuring sustainably from our milk
producers
2) Encouraging fair trade practises, and providing high-quality products to our
consumers.
 Mission:
1) Social & economic upliftment of rural population.
2) Transparency in milk price payment to farmer.
3) To create adequate marketing infrastructure for providing quality milk & milk
products to urban consumers.
OBJECTIVES

 To have an intensive knowledge of Job Description & Job Specification of


different departments in a factory.
 To gain knowledge about how manpower planning works in a factory.
 To identify the succession planning in DUSS Ltd., Varanasi.

LIMITATIONS

 It was not allowed to take interviews of lower level designations as well as third party, data collection about
their job duties was provided by the head of the respective departments.
 The internship period was of limited duration which wasn’t enough for data collection in depth.
