Objectives
• To estimate the liquid film mass transfer coefficient( KL) .
• To determine the power-law relationship between Shaweerd number and renyolds number and

compare the results with published relationships.


• To discus the error and the reasons.

• This experiment was done by means of the mass transfer concept .

Figure (1): The logarithmic relationship between Reynolds number of the liquid and Sherwood

number of the liquid at flow of water equal 20 L/h, the n(power) from the plot equal 0.7648.
Conclusion:

• The gas-film resistance is negiligbale due to absorption of pure Co2 into water , then

KL was calculated .
• The relationship between the amount of NaoH titrate and flow rate of Co2 is a direct

relation.
• The relation between flow rate of Co2 and Shaweerd number is a direct relationship.

• The relationship between Re number and flow rate of the water was noticed that is a

direct raletion .
