2023 activities
• Support Philippine presentation on GloFouling project updates at AWGMT in May 2023
• Engage with countries regarding comments and feedback on the draft regional strategy on
biofouling management
• Organization of Regional Task Force Meeting on BioFouling Sept 20-23, 2024 with DGSTm
Indonesia and IMO
• Monitor and manage contractual arrangements on the development of national economic
assessments and national strategy and action plans for Indonesia and the Philippines
• Initiate contractual discussion on the development of national rapid status assessment on
biofouling management in Malaysia (tbc)
• Facilitate discussions on the conduct of training course on biofouling management in Indonesia
and the Philippines for Q1 2024

• Support Indonesia presentation on RTF updates at AWGMT in XXX 2024
• Discuss formal tabling of countries’ biofouling regional strategy at AWGMT
