RECOGNITION CEREMONY

INTRODUCTION :

 The National Safety Week is observed from 4th to 10th March annually. National Safety Day
commemorates the establishment of the National Safety Council in 1972. The National Safety
Council is an self autonomous Governing body that works to raise awareness about safety
protocols related to road safety, human health safety environmental, safety in multiple industries,
NGO’s, institutes and many more.
 Theme of the year : Focus on Safety Leadership for Environmental, Social, and Governance
(ESG) Excellence.

ENVIRONMENTAL SOCIAL GOVERNANCE

 OBJECTIVE :
• THE MAIN OBJECTIVE OF NATIONAL SAFETY WEEK CELEBRATION
IS TO HIGHLIGHT SAFETY MEASURES AND ENSURE THAT PEOPLE
ARE AWARE OF THEM AND FOLLOW THEM TO AVOID WORKPLACE
ACCIDENTS/INCIDENTS.
• ANOTHER OBJECTIVE IS TO RAISE AWARENESS ABOUT THE
IMPORTANCE OF SAFETY AT WORKPLACE, HOME AND
COMMUNITIES ETC.
• TO ENCOURAGE PEOPLE TO BE MORE AWARE OF COMMON
SAFETY PROTOCOLS.

This is a kind of fun, we asked EHS relevant questions to few of the workers on site and whoever gave the correct
answer was given a gift.
FIRE FIGHTING TRAINING :-

Fire safety training is essential to ensure the safety and well-being of all workers in the workplace. By providing
training, workers are made aware of fire hazards and risks, as well as taught how to prevent fires and how to respond
effectively in case of fire emergency.
BODY HARNESS WEARING COMPETITION :-

This is an awareness competition on how to wear harness correctly, easily and quickly

A session was taken by Dr. Nilesh Singh to explain about health and hygiene.

The competition was a motivational event aimed at building good relationships among workers and creating an
environment where they would rather spend their free time playing games than drinking alcohol etc.

All the talented players of the cricket tournament were honored with shield medals and gifts and all the winners who
participated in the activities during the Safety Week were honored with gifts and certificates.
