The World Heritage Site

 World Heritage is the designation for places on Earth that are

of outstanding universal value to humanity and as such, have
been inscribed on the World Heritage List to be protected for
future generations to appreciate and enjoy.

 World Heritage Sites are cultural and/or natural sites

considered to be of 'Outstanding Universal Value', which
have been inscribed on the World Heritage List by the World
Heritage Committee. These places or buildings are thought
to: have special importance for everyone.

Conclusion

It is a known fact that the UNESCO World Heritage Site ranking helps the
country gain 'status' while improving the country's tourism, culture, and
employment rate. Each site is judged based on the significance of cultural
and natural heritage and how much the particular site adds value to humanity.

India is one of the world's oldest countries which is deeply rooted in the
ancient history of human civilization. Hence these heritage sites still remain
perfectly preserved to date.
