What is Qualitative Research?
Interview, observation, document and audiovisual data, text and
image analysis

Content analysis, Natural Setting, Begins with vague, general question or a

broad topic

Essence Questions, Develop theory, Explore a topic, General, flexible

The researcher has intense contact with the participants over a long
period of time, Peoples own words

(Espique, 2016)
What is Qualitative Research?

Qualitative research involves collecting and analyzing

non-numerical data (e.g., text, video, or audio) to understand
concepts, opinions, or experiences. It can be used to gather
in-depth insights into a problem or generate new ideas for
research (Bhandari, 2021).

Turo-turo and online market proprietors are the informants. Primary data are
utilized. Thus, the researcher utilized SWOT analysis to assess the present state of the
store in barrios, proving that online popularity outweighs product standardization and
competitive spirit in the marketplace. In their surrounds, they may readily capture the
availability of their goods. Because of the poor quality of human resources, they cannot
grow properly. The larger entrepreneurs tend to control price, product quality, and the
payment method, which creates challenges for smaller entrepreneurs to form
partnerships. There are a lot of issues between the merchant and the customer in the
barrios. Therefore, Ilokanos in the Philippines are business-minded in a modest way.
