What bookmarking sites do you use to manage your research?
Which SBS would you recommend to others, and why?

• Bookmarking means to have access of that website in future. Some book-


marking sites are twitter, Instagram or LinkedIn.
• I would recommend twitter as it shows the latest trend all around the
globe.
When and how would you use images or video clips in a brief
presentation? What copyright laws apply to such use?

• An image would be used to capture the attention of the audience. Images


should be natural.
• The copy right laws that will apply in this case is that images can also be
used for educational or research purposes.
What presentation software do you consider superior? Why? How
do you test your slides for audience reaction?

• Google slides is considered superior in my opinion. It has the key feature


that make it easier to collaborate and create a presentation in a timely way.
It has a tool of question answers which make presentation more
interactive.
• to test your slides for audience reaction, share a link of your presentation
and add anyone you want. Add comments to know feedback.
How could you use social media to involve the audience during
your presentation?

• You can help the organizer gain more exposure. Always try to publicize
the event.
• Use polls to find out what your target audience wants.
• Post teasers to remind people where they may come to learn about you.
What strategies do you use to overcome presentation anxiety?

• Anxiety is a natural feeling. there are many strategies to overcome anxiety.


Some of them are:
o Know your topic
o Get organized.
o Visualize your success.
o Practice and practice more.
o Challenge Specific worries
o Do some deep breathing.
o Focus on your material.
o Don’t fear a moment of silence.

Why should even practiced speakers plan their presentations
when addressing a business audience instead of just “winging it”?

• Speakers should always plan their presentation no matter how excellent


speakers they could be. Speakers always prepare their presentation due to
various reasons. They might be experienced but they might miss on certain
points to speak on. So, if there is a presentation it will make it easy for him/her.
o Your words flow naturally
o You stay on topic
o You can develop a Plan B
o Correcting mistakes
Communication expert Dianna Booher claims that enthusiasm is infectious
and “boredom is contagious.”20 What does this mean
for you as a presenter? How can you avoid being a boring speaker?

• The meaning of "enthusiasm is infectious and boredom is contagious" by


Dianna Booher, is that as a speaker its a tool to keep the audience
attention if you have enthusiasm in your speech and or even presentation.
• When you're sitting in the audience and hearing the monotone in the
person voice its boring and your attention is no longer on them. When
you're having someone with enthusiasm it grabs the audience and makes
them interactive and attention seeker.
What are detractors saying about the PowerPoint and
why they are condemning it? Present a counter argument.

• Detractors from the use of PowerPoint feel PowerPoint is not


suitable for certain types of presentations such as a detailed
process.
• One major con of using PowerPoint to present a detailed
process is that PowerPoint slides forces the presenter to reduce
complex subjects to a set of bullet items which are too weak to
support decision-making or show the complexity of an issue.
