opportunities to fully participate in the K to 12 Basic Education Program.(Deped
Order 44, s.2021)
2. Services includes, Resource Room services, adaption of Learning Resources and
access and ICT, Educational Placement (Full inclusion, partial inclusion, self-
contained.

The IPED Program supports the realization of the K to 12 Basic Education
Curriculum, which subscribes to the following standards and principles, among
others: inclusive, culture-sensitive, and flexible enough to enable and allow schools
to localize, indigenize, and enhance based on the community’s educational and
social context. (Deped Order 22, s 2016)

Attendance
•Participation in the flag ceremony on Mondays and flag
retreat on Fridays is a MUST to all students
•Regular and punctual attendance in all classes and school
activities is strongly encouraged
•Tardiness requires a PASS SLIP signed by parent/guardian
to be countersigned by Adviser, OSA Level Coordinator and
subject teacher concerned
•Absences require an excuse letter signed by
parent/guardian
•Absence of more than 20% of the required total number of
days attendance maybe dropped or given a failing grade
(provided that all interventions are exhausted).

Proper School Attire: Deped Order No. 26. s. 2008
While the general policy is that the wearing of a school
uniform shall not be required in public schools (as embodied in
DepEd Order No. 45 s. 2008), it is necessary to provide guidance
on what constitutes proper school attire. The following
principles should serve as a guide:

• A student’s basic right to go to school, study and learn is


of paramount importance and should be respected and promoted
at all times.

• A student’s attire should reflect respect for the school as


an institution for learning.

• A student’s attire should not become a cause for
discrimination particularly for students belonging to a lower
socio-economic status.

• Promoting physical hygiene and proper school decorum is


part of the teaching- learning process in schools, thus a
student’s attire and physical appearance should manifest
learnings from this process.

Given the above principles, the suggested attire for elementary
and secondary students may be:
•For Boys – White polo shirt/T-shirt with sleeves-with a
minimum of prints
 Long Pants-any color
 Foot wear- school shoes
• For Girls – approved white blouse or T-shirt
 Footwear-school shoes
• Students are discouraged from wearing expensive (signature or
designer brands) or flashy clothes, tight-fitting
pants/blouses/dresses, mini-skirts, short shorts, blouses with
plunging necklines, hip-hop pants for boys, and sleepwear.
• Male students are prohibited to wear earrings.

Hair Cut
 Required hair cut for male students: 2 fingers, barber cut
 Students are prohibited from using fancy dye
Minor Offenses
 Misconduct
 Cheating and jumping on the fence
 Smoking inside the school premises
 Vandalism, writing, destroying school properties
 Gambling of any sort
 Fighting, causing injury to others
 Forging, tampering of the school records or transfer form
 Cutting classes and tardiness
 Possessing or bringing to campus pornographic materials

Major Offences
• Gross misconduct
• Assaulting a teacher, shoplifting, theft, any other school authority or
his agents and students
• Drinking intoxications and liquor
• Carrying and concealing deadly weapons which resulted to injury to
others
• Using, possessing and selling of prohibited drugs
• Hazing in any form or manner whether inside or outside the school
premises
• Instigating, leading or participating in concerned activities leading to
stoppage of classes
• Immorality
• Preventing, threatening students or faculty members or school
authorities from discharging their duties or from attending classes or
entering school premises.

Deped Child Protection Policy (Deped Order 40, s. 2012)
•Prohibited Acts:
1. Child abuse
2. Discrimination against children
3. Child exploitation
4. Violence against children in school
5. Corporal punishment
6. Any analogous or similar act

•Bullying- is committed when a student commits an act or a series of acts directed


towards another student, or a series of single act directed towards several students in
a school setting or a place of learning, which results in physical and mental abuse,
harassment, intimidation or humiliation.
•Cyber-bullying- is any conduct defined in the preceding paragraph, as resulting in
harassment, intimidation, or humiliation, through electronic means or other
technology, such as but not limited to texting. Email, instant messaging, chatting,
internet, social networking websites or any platforms or formats.
