temporary and permanent disability, and rapid life recovery and long
hospitalization.

sudden illnesses. Awareness on safety makes
you think ahead of the causes effects and
preventions of accidents. Just in case it
happens to you despite being extra careful. you
can tell others to follow your instructions.
Preparations for disaster

Did you know that knowledge of first aid is a

civic responsibility? When disasters like floods
or earthquake strike, you might find yourself in a
situation where medical or hospital services are
limited or delayed, or when a doctor is not
readily available. Knowing and applying first aid
will enable you to help save lives and work with
your family and community in creating an
orderly way of reaching out to more people who
need immediate care.
First aid, however, does not replace the proper
medical treatment, gives temporary relief before
more qualified medical help arrives. When the
doctor is not yet present or the ambulance is
delayed, you can at least do something because
every second counts, Even if most injuries and
illnesses do not require medical care, one should
not just give any treatment for the sake of doing
something. It can do more harm than good. This is
why both children and adults should learn first aid
so that they will be aware of what to do and what
not to do..
Part of first aid is also giving words of
encouragement and showing the
willingness to help. It promotes
confidence by demonstrating your
competence to help. Your conscience İs
clear because you know that you have
done the treatment correctly and that
you did your best.
