INTRODUCTION

 In this project we have tried to provide a


solution for food waste through our web
application.
 In this web application it contains three
modules first one is the Admin module, Donor
module and another one contains NGO
module.
 This allows individuals and organizations to
manage their leftover food and contribute it to
those in need.
EXISTING SYSTEM

 In existing system if anyone have extra food because of any function or in their home
it will be become waste because instantly there is no way to share with anyone if they
are having lots of food.
 If they want to give that extra food to any orphanage or poor people they don’t have
time or don’t have an idea about that.
PROPOSED SYSTEM

 Reduce the food wastage using this application.


 The admin collect foods from donator through their
nearby agent then provide to nearest orphanages or
poor people.
 The user interface of this system will be simple and
user-friendly.
 The Admin can also monitor and update the
database.
Methodology
HARDWARE/SOFTWARE REQUIREMENTS USED

 Hardware Requirements:
• Processor : intel core i3 or more
• Ram : 1GB RAM required(Minimum)
• Hard Disk : 20 GB (Minimum)

 Software Requirements :
• Tool : XAMPP
• Operating System : Windows 7 or Higher
• Scripting Language : PHP, Java Script
• Front End : HTML, CSS
• Back End : MySQL
ADVANTAGES

 Benefits will be for both the Donor and the needy.


 Protect the environment.
 Positive branding.
DISADVANTAGES
 Wrong inputs will affect the project outputs.
 Internet connection is mandatory.
 User will not be able to view details if the
server goes down.
CONCLUSION

 This web-based Leftover Food Management system can assist in collecting the
leftover food from hotels or any functions to distribute among those in need.
 NGOs that are helping poor communities to battle against starvation and
malnutrition can raise a request for food supply from restaurants, any function,
hotels through this application.
