success of this project. We also
appreciate our science patron for her
guidance throughout the preparation
period.
BACKGROUND INFORMATION

Last year during the month of February, I lost my aunt

because of under arm cancer.
Before she died, she confessed that the antiperspirants
she had been used had caused her to have cancer as per
the doctor report. This case made think a lot and I
therefore, came up with a method of making a
homemade deodorant which are kind to the skin and
healthy to use.
STATEMENT OF PROBLEM
Cancer has become a global disaster. Some of
the causes of causes of cancer are the
commercial deodorant and ant spirants we
used which are purely chemical. Our locally
made deodorant is skin friendly and does
interfere with the working of the sweat glands.
OBJECTIVES
• Prepare cheap deodorants which are easy to make and kind to skin.
RELEVANCE
• These deodorant which is homemade is good and healthy to use hence prevent diseases like cancer.
ASSUMPTION
• We have assumed that all the requirements are available every where
PRECAUTION
• When using the deodorant use a little because it is highly effective
• Advantages
• Cheap deodorant
• Easy to make
• Kind to the skin
• LIMITATION
• Some of the requirements maybe cost effective
APPARATUS
• Beaker 100ml
• Coconut oil 50ml
• Baking powder 20g
• Cornstarch 20
• Stirrers
METHODOLOGY
• Mix equal amounts of the baking powder with the corn flour/cornstarch
add 50ml of the coconut oil to the mixture and stir to mix.
• Add the essential oil (fragrance) to the mixture formed above and stir
OBSERVATION
• A paste-like substance is formed
DATA
• When the above experiment is done about 100g of deodorant is formed,
which can be used by one person for about three months. If more of the
deodorant is to be made, then more ingredients are required.
WORKING
When the switch is put on the source of light makes
rectal pheromone and food bait will attract a variety of
flying insect pest which will be catched by the electrified
net and shocked to death
CONCLUSION
• It is more efficient in assisting reduction of flying pest
• It will also help in ensuring save control of insect pest
CONCLUSION
• The objective of this project has been fulfilled since it has been able to
attract and kill flying insects
• we have seen this project can work to eradicate insects in our country

RECOMMENDATION
• we recommend the government to encourage people to come up with
more methods of insect control systems which have no effects to the
environment
