• A celestial body that is big, hot and very far from Eath.
• It is made up of gases and has its own heat and light
• Sun is an example of a star
CONSTELALTION

• Group of stars that form a pattern in the sky are called constellations.
• Earlier days constellation were based on character, animals,objects etc.,
• Ancient time there were 1000’s of constellations
• Now, 88 are identified by the scientists.
• Ursa Major and Orion are the famous constellations
• Easily recognizable pattern is the Saptarishi a group of seven stars that are part of URSA
MAJOR CONSTELLATION.
