 1. Abstract or Summary

An abstract is an overview that

highlights all important aspects of
the research including the research
method, data collection process,
and research findings.

 Introduction tells the reader what

the topic of the paper is in general
terms, why the topic is important,
and what to expect in the paper.

 Introductions are sometimes

folded into literature reviews.

It provides a detailed description

of the study design, sample
selection, data collection, and
data analysis procedure.

The results section chronicles
