PLANNING FOR

MANUFACTURE
LEARNING OBJECTIVE
• To identify the steps that manufacturers must take into
consideration..
• To infer that making needs to be planned and organized in detail.
• To plan different steps of the process to ensure everything completed
in the correct order.
Starter
• Describe the steps required to make a cup of coffee.
Flow chart
• A flowchart follows a logical path through a series of actions, such as
each step in the creating process.

DRY TRANSFER TECHNIQUE
What is dry transfer technique?
In this method, flakes of the 2D material are first fabricated on a polymer
sheet and are subsequently transferred onto another material (typically,
exfoliated h-BN on a Si substrate) without dissolving the polymer sheets by
organic solvents.

How do you make a dry transfer?

Dry transfers are a type of decal that can be applied without water or another solvent. To apply a dry transfer, you
need to place it face down on the object you’re
applying it to, and evenly rub along the backing with a stylus or another stiff tool.

Activity -Plenary
