SCAVENGER HUNT!
INSTRUCTIONS:
- The class will be divided into 4 groups
• Every group will must work together to find the
words or clues with in a set time limit.
• I will play a music, when the music starts it is a
signal for you to find the clues inside tab classroom,
but when the music stops you freeze until the music
starts again.
- After you gather all the clues one member of the
group must go in front to show the clues that you get.
- And place it to the you choose on which table you
will place it on the Adult table or the Toddler table.

Starchy
carbohydrate’s

Are type of carbohydrates found in


food like bread, rice, pasta,
potatoes, and cereals. At least 4
servings a day of starchy
carbohydrates. A serving is ¼ - ½
slice bread or 2-3 tbsp cooked rice
or pasta.
Proteins

are large, complex molecules


that play many important roles
in the body. They are 2 servings
a day of protein. A Serving is
about 30g (1oz) cooked meat,
chicken, fish or 1 tbsp smooth
nut butter.
Vegetables

Vegetables are rich in vitamins,


minerals, and fiber like example of
leafy greens, carrots. Toddlers
should aim to consume about 2-3
servings a day of vegetables. A
serving is 2 tbsp peas, carrots or
beans, 3 cherry tomatoes or 2
cauliflower or broccoli florets.
Fruit

It helps ensure they receive a


diverse array of vitamins, minerals,
and fiber to support their health and
development. Toddler should aim to
assume 2-3 servings of fruit. A
serving is ½ apple, pear or banana
or a handful of grapes.
Dairy
Dairy products like
milk, cheese, and
yogurt, butter are
important for providing
calcium and vitamin D.
Toddlers need to have 2 servings a
day of dairy foods or at least 350 ml
whole milk. A serving is a small pot
of yogurt or 40g (1 1/2oz) cheese.

toddlers
Present the meal in an appealing and toddler
friendly manner, considering factors such as
colors, textures and sizes.
And show on how will you encourage a
toddler to eat the meal.
