Week 5: Roles and Responsibilities

in Health and Physical Education

TOPIC: Identify at least three community partners in
your area and how they support and affect the
learner’s environment.

1. Health Care Center- They provide services such as first aid, child
health, and community-based interventions including immunization
clinics for Barangays.
2. Barangay- A barangay is the smallest political unit in the country.
They execute minor judicial powers as part of the Barangay Justice
System, such as settling disputes between neighbors. They are also the
one who makes sure that everyone in the community is safe.

3. Family- Families are universally recognized as an important source of

support and security. They can provide safe and stable environments which
nurture the growth and development of each member throughout the
different stages of life, from birth to old age.

TOPIC: Review the roles and responsibilities of each
stakeholders and list down some challenges they encounter
and give possible solutions.

1. HEALTH CARE CENTER

Problem: Lack of Medicines and other supplies.

Solution: One of the possible solution for this is the Barangay Officials
must have a contact and cooperation with the local government and other
non-government units so that they can ask for help such as financial and
donations.

2. BARANGAY
Problem: Polluted Sewage System Resulting to Floods

Solution: The Philippines experiences natural calamities yearly, most especially

typhoons & flash floods. The barangay should first fix & clean their sewage
systems then afterwards start implementing strict rules to its people when it
comes to proper disposal of waste in order to prevent clogging of these sewages.
Therefore, slowly but surely the barangay would not experience intense floods in
their place in the near future.

2. FAMILY
Problem: Financial Problems

Solution: One of the causes of family stress is money problems, one of the
possible solution here is to have a good financial management, cut out
unnecessary purchases.

any grade in Physical Education or Health

you used in the past modules.
