Congruence Theorem And The
(Hypotenuse Acute-Angle) Congruence
Theorem
Our Presentation Concludes:

A. Figures That Are Completely Labeled

B. The Given And What Is To Be Proved

C. And Lastly The Proof

EXPLANATION

The Hypotenuse Leg Theorem is a criterion used to

prove the congruence of right triangles. It states
that two right triangles are congruent if the
hypotenuse and one leg of one triangle are
congruent to the hypotenuse and corresponding leg
of the other triangle.
EXPLANATION

Hypotenuse Leg Theorem is specific to right triangles and

cannot be used to prove congruence for other types of
triangles.

In Short:if the hypotenuse(longest side of the triangle) and

a leg of a right triangle are congruent or same measure
with the corresponding hypotenuse and leg of another right
triangle, then the two triangles are congruent.

According to the theorem if one

HYPOTENUSE and ONE LEG From A RIGHT
TRIANGLE IS CONGRUENT TO THE
HYPOTENUSE AND A LEG FROM ANOTHER
TRIANGLE THEN THE TRIANGLES ARE
CONGRUENT.

To illustrate this, imagine two right triangles then if we

know that the length of one leg and the length of the
hypotenuse in one triangle are equal to the length of the
corresponding leg and hypotenuse in the other triangle,
then we can conclude that the remaining sides and
angles of the triangles are also equal. This is because
the hypotenuse and one leg uniquely determine a right
triangle.

In conclusion, if you have two right triangles with

matching hypotenuses and one corresponding leg, you
can conclude that the triangles are congruent, this
means all their corresponding sides and angles are
equal. To put simply if a hypotenuse and leg sides
measurement is same in the other triangle then the
triangles are congruent.

THE TRIANGLES ARE

CONGRUENT!!!
EXPLANATION

The Acute Hypotenuse Theorem states that when two right triangles
share the same length of hypotenuse and also have an equal acute angle,
then these two triangles are congruent. Congruence means that all
corresponding sides and angles of the two triangles are equal,
guaranteeing that the triangles are not just similar but exactly identical in
shape and size. This theorem is fundamental in geometry as it provides a
precise condition under which two right triangles can be considered
identical.

The Acute Hypotenuse Theorem is like a rule in geometry. It says if

you have two right-angled triangles and they both have a side (the
hypotenuse) and an angle (the acute angle) that are the same length
and size, then the two triangles are identical. It's like saying if two
puzzles have the same shape and size, they are the same puzzle.
This rule helps us figure out if two triangles are the same, even if we
don't know everything about them.
