Check the UV Sensor distance between the label


and the UV Sensor itself, Min 8 mm - Max 10 mm,
otherwise loose and move the UV Sensor, in
order to reach the correct working distance.

UV Sensor Calibration (Procedure 1)

 Move the label tape until the sensor blue spot will be exactly in
the middle of a label.

 Push and hold the sensor button (the green led will blink).

 Move the label tape until the sensor blue spot will be outside
the label.

 Hold on the button for few seconds until the green led will be

fixed. The orange led must switch off while the green led will

UV Sensor Calibration (Procedure 2)

 Move the label tape until the sensor blue spot will be outside

the label.

 Push and hold the sensor button (the green led will blink).

 Move the label tape until the sensor blue spot will be exactly in
the middle of a label.

 Hold on the button for few seconds until the green led will be

fixed. The orange led must switch off while the green led will
remain fixed.

Check the UV SENSOR STUTUS:

GREEN ONLY: Label detected

To adjust Label position through MM_Config,


set a new
“Delay Offset to Label Application” value from
Mailer Labeler module.

Application” is not enough to center the label
under the card, set a new “Labe Motor Max

- [ Mailer Transport 2 + Mailer Labeler ] PreLoad Card Positioning -

From MLB FW ver 1.14, the new function “Label +Transport 2 one module “ is available.
It works to marge the Transport 2 with the Mailer Labeler in one module, in order to adjust the
preload card position, before to move the card into the Mailer Applier module, through the “Eject
Offset After Sensor” from Mailer Labeler module.

Keep “Label +Transport 2 one module “ always enabled, avoiding

• strange Preload card position


• card transport belt issues ( belt located in the Mailer Applier)

How to adjust the Card Positioning Proximity Sensor


Behind the Proximity sensor, loose the two screws (Z), and fix the sensor
in order to leave max 1 mm gap between the lower side of the proximity
Sensor (Y) and the Finger top side (X) fixed on the main card transport belt.

How to adjust the Card Applier  put a card carrier under the pad

How to adjust the Card grip along to the card path


 adjusting the Screw (A) and (B) , after ensure that the card grip is enough, to avoid to
loose it when loaded it into the Mailer applier module, through the main card transport belt.

 put a dummy card into the Mailer Applier (C), and


turn the card transport stepper motor knob  loose the Screw (A), and Tight
manually, in order to reach and touch the card, then
trasport the card and check if there is gap after stop Screw (B), to decrease the card
turnthe knob, pulling the card fordward, it means grip on the left side, and
the card grip is not enough, try to follow the steps increase
aside. on the right side

 loose the Screw (B), and Tight

- [ Mailer Carrier App ] BarcodeCarrier Verification -

The Barcode Carrier Verification can be adjusted manually, losing the knob from the BCD support
and move the BCD left/right, according with the BCD written on the carrier.
It’s suggested to align the BCD Reader in the center on the BCD on the carrier, to improve the
reading. The BCD reader can be adjusted up/down manually, in case of different BCD sizes.

How to calibrate the Card Detector device:


 Push the Solenoid shaft down (Y) and check if the gap under the plastic flag (X) is able to
stop the card applied on the carrier, otherwise adjust the solenoid position, loosing the two
screws on the solenoid support (O).

Put a dummy card under the baering (A)


and check if the metal flag goes into the sensor
when the card is under the bearing, otherwise Y
adjust the sensor position loosing the screw (C)
on the sensor support.

How to align the Card applied on the Carrier


 the card alignment can be adjusted through the Screw (A), left side, and Screw (B),
right side. This is the same procedure to adjust the Card grip along to the card path on
Mailer Applier module.

 Card 1 – loose the Screw (A) and Tight Screw (B), to avoid the card tilt issue.
 Card 2 – loose the Screw (B) and Tight Screw (A), to avoid the card tilt issue.
 Card 3 – i’t OK, because the card is parallel to the carrier edges.

Note that, adjusting the Screw (A) and (B) , after ensure that A
