A stain is a mark on a piece of clothing that is


very hard or sometimes, impossible to
remove.

To keep your clothes clean and neat, avoid staining them. Be careful when eating
macaroni, spaghetti or dishes with sauces. Avoid putting ballpoint pens or fountain

 Identify the source of the stain. Is it from coffee, chocolate, oil, ketchup,
etc.? Knowing the cause will make it easier to go to the next step.

garment. Old stains that have set in because of washing and ironing are

 Some stains are set by heat but coffee or chocolate stains are removed
by pouring hot water over the stained portion.

A. Rearrange the steps in removing the following stains. (Write 1- 5 on
