Job Descriptions

Executive Sponsor: • Involved in the CPR at a very high level


• Ensures that team meets major milestones
• Escalates high priority issues
Steering Committee: • Forms at very beginning of CPR
• Responsible for choosing process owner and team leader
• Determines scope of CPR

Process Owner: • Directs CPR from Prepare phase through Pilot/Implement


• Responsible for meeting deadlines, supplying resources

Subject Matter • Provides team with necessary knowledge to successfully transform


Stakeholders/Experts: processes
• Serve as consultants to team during CPR

Team Leader: • Runs day-to-day operations of CPR


• Manages the core team

CPR Team Members: • Collects and analyzes data related to CPR


• Responsible for creating new processes
• Allocations range 5% - 100%

Critical Issues
Consider the following critical issues when choosing CPR team members.

• Leadership must be aligned with the overall strategy/vision for the organization

• When designating leadership, include back-ups for critical positions

• Define roles and responsibilities before appointing team members

• Set expectations

• Define career opportunities for participating CPR team members in order to gain support
