• 21. O people! Adore your Guardian-Lord, who
created you and those who came before you,
so that you may have the chance to learn
righteousness; 22. Who has made the earth
your couch, and the heavens your canopy; and
sent down rain from the heavens; and by it
brought forth fruits for your sustenance; then
do not set up rivals to Allah, when you know.

Allah’s relationship with the

• Allah is not only the Creator


but also the Provider and
Sustainer.

• As Allah is the Creator and


Provider, so human being is
required to admit all these favors
and realize that only Allah
deserves our worship and
associating partners with Him is a
great sin.
• Surah Rehman repeatedly
mentions the favors of Allah to
mankind and says:
“So which of the bounties of
your Lord will you deny?”

• It strengthens our faith in Allah and


His bounties.

• Mankind should be thankful towards


Allah who has bestowed his bounties
on them.

• A Muslim should not associate


partners with Allah as it is a great sin.

• We should use the resources of life
without wasting them.

• Allah pours rain for us thus it is our


duty to save water from wasting

• We should protect the natural world


and try to conserve the natural
resources as Allah has made them for
the comfort of mankind.
