Introduction
 Hangzhou polytech plastic machinary co.ltd was established in
1997.
 The company has its own research, development and
manufacturing center.
 Main scope of polytech is as follow,
 Manufacturing complete set of extrusion machine.
 Supplying equipment and installation.
 Supplying different raw materials.
 Trainings.
 Supplying laboratory equipment.
 After installation technical and quality support.
 Providing the most updated plastic and its composite technology.
 Polytech will do our best to provide customers with timely.
 Brief polytech equipment and production is the following,
1. Stone plastic composite (SPC) flooring
 It’s a production of flooring technology, which is made of
powdered stone mainly CaCO3 and PVC resin with additional
quality enhancing plastic additives.
 SPC flooring is made of 70%--80% of powdered stone and 30%--
20% of PVC resin and plastic additives.
 SPC flooring have UV coated for scratch and damage protection,
decorative film, rigid and IXPE foam back lamination for sound
proof layers.
 Its recyclable. Eco-friendly product.
 Easy installation.
 With different decorative design is available.
 Cost efficient compared to other flooring production.
 Minimum man power for production.
 Highly water resistant and weather resistant.

 Production area needed for SPC production is 100m*30m
warehouse needed.
 Starting investment estimation cost for equipment is around 1.3
million dollar and will be lower as customer discussion.

Cost analysis for SPC flooring
 One batch production raw materials is 342.1kg.
342.1kg = 108.77 USD.
1 kg of raw material cost 0.32 USD
1 sq.m = 8kg with 4mm thickness.
That means to produce 1 sq.m SPC flooring it costs 0.32*8 = 2.56 USD
Other costs will be
 Electric power and utilities for 1 sq.m = 0.4-0.5 USD.

 Pattern film layer for 1 sq.m = 0.5-0.6 USD.

 Wear film layer for 1 sq.m = 0.17-0.45 USD.

 UV coating layer for 1 sq.m = 0.18 USD.

 IXPE lamination for 1 sq.m = 0.07 USD.

Therefore, total cost needed for 1 sq.m complete SPC flooring will be:
3.88-4.36 USD.
the selling price for SPC in Ethiopia is 1700-1800 ETB. And is dramatically increasing.
Here, the cost for labor cost and raw material transportation is not included.
2. PVC roofing
 It is a production of hard and rigid roofing, is made od powdered
stone and PVC resin.
 Its composition will be 30-50% CaCO3 and 50-80% PVC resin
with small amount of additives.
 Mainly have ASA decorative and protection, rigid recycled and
virgin PVC resin layers.
 High thermal insulation.
 Sound proof.
 Fireproof.
 Light weight.
 Highly water proof.
 Cost efficient in all accepts.
 Area needed for PVC roofing production will be 28m*5m.

 1 sq.m PVC roofing mass will be 5kg. So it will cost according to
the above price list 1kg of PVC roofing is 0.72 USD.
0.72*5 = 3.6 USD will cost to produce 1 sq.m PVC roofing
 ASA protective film needed for 1 sq.m is 100 gram it costs
0.3 USD.
 Power cost for 1 sq.m of pvc roofing is 0.3 USD.

Therefore, total production cost for 1 sq.m of PVC roofing will be

 this production cost is for high quality PVC roofing.
 The price will not include labor and raw material transportation
cost.
3. Furniture PVC foam board
 Is made of powdered stone and PVC resin with different plastic
additives.
 Its composition will be 30-50% of CaCO3 and 50-80% PVC resin
with additives.
 Mainly have UV with decorative, PVC resin on the top and above,
and foamed PVC at the middle core.
 Highly water resistant.
 Can be saw and hammered.
 Recyclable.
 Can be grooved and screwed many times.
 Good surface finishing.
 Can get with different design.
 Considered as main substitute for MDF and other furniture boards.

4. WPC ceiling, wall cladding and decoration
 Its produced from powdered wood, CaCO3 and PVC resin with
other additives.
 All those raw materials mixed and extruded in the extrusion
machine with different molds.
 Is produced 50% of wood and CaCO3 with 50% of PVC resin
addition of additives.
 Very wide application in finishing and decoration in indoor and
outdoor application.
 Highly water resistant.
 Fire retardant.
 Very good looking.
 Recyclable.
 Can be molded in to different shapes easily.

5. PP hollow formwork board
 Is made of PP and CaCO3.
 Can be reused for more than 50 times formwork.
 Its recyclable.
 Have virgin PP with 25% CaCO3 on the top and bottom layers 2-
3mm, and 100% recycled PP for the core.
 Area needed for production is 45m*10m warehouse for equipment.
 Starting investment for equipment will be around 360,000 dollar,
and will be lower as the customer discussion.
 Smooth and good finishing for form worked concrete.
 Very strong.
 Water resistant.
 Can be nailed and cut.
Cost analysis for PP hollow formwork board
 One PP hollow form work board with standard size
2440*1200*18mm will be 30kg.
 1 kg of virgin PP cost will be 1 USD and 1 kg of CaCO3 cost will
be 0.15 USD.
 The mixing ratio of PP hollow formwork is 75% PP and 25%
CaCO3.
 For one formwork board (30kg) we use 22.5 kg of pp and 7.5 kg of
CaCO3.
22.5*1 USD = 22.5 USD.
7.5*0.15 USD = 1.125 USD.
Totally it will cost 22.5+1.125+0.3 USD for power+3 USD for
Additives (agent, anti-oxidizing, uv-resistant and lubricants).
26.925 USD
man power and raw material transportation is not included.
6. ACP (aluminum composite panel)
 Is made of recycled PE sandwiched by aluminum sheet.
 Have three layers.
 0.2-0.5mm aluminum sheet on the top and bottom and 100%
recycled PE 5-6mm at the middle.
 Its starting investment for equipment will be around 700,000 dollar.
 Area needed for production will be 60m*20m.
