4.1 Involvement of EWRs and women in GS,
Ward Sabha and GP meetings will
increase

taken up in GS, Ward Sabha and Gram
Panchayat
4.3 At least 100 Gram Sabha/ Ward Sabha
meetings will be attended by motivators
Achievement
 A significant increase in the participation of women as evident
from the Mahila Sabha/ Palli Sabha and Gram Sabha. The
participation ratio varied between 50% to 80% as compared to
that of male participation.
 Issues namely availability of safe drinking water, health,
sanitation, alcohol abuse, female feticide and trafficking etc.
have been discussed and well appreciated by the EWRs as well
as villagers .
 100 special gram Sabhas and 700 Palli Sabhas were organized
last year in 2 districts.
 Subsequently 238 Mahila Sabhas organized in 4 districts during
the 1st quarter of 2013.
