Data accessed by the farmers relate to the weather, crop conditions, best practices in farming, scientific farming practices, soil testing services and a host of other relevant information.

IMPACT OF IGNORANCE ON ENVIRONMENT

Oil on the water surface can catch fire and pollute the air. Oil can react with oxygen in the air to form acids that are carried by wind and eventually fall back to the ground as acid rain. Oil washes up on beaches and marshes resulting in life threatening habitats for wildlife species.

CONSEQUENCES o Ecology
As of Nov-10, 6814-Dead animals collected. Birds like pelicans,herons and Sea Turtles. Fishes, Dolphins and other mammals. Shrimps, Crabs, Pyrosomes and Coral reefs also affected. Four Bird rehabilitation centers, seven marine mammal and Sea turtle rehabilitation centers were opened.
