MARFO CHILDREN CARE FOUNDATION (MCCF) OCTOBER 2013 UPDATE

BIRTHDAY CELEBRATIONS The Lord keeps blessing us with birthday celebrations from our friends and family. Miss Anne Prempeh surprised us with a visit on the 20th to celebrate her birthday with us. The whole house was filled with joy and excitement. Auntie Anne and her friends arrived with lots of food, drinks and household items to celebrate with the children. We are so grateful! We know Auntie Anne could have decided to celebrate her birthday with anyone else but she decided to enjoy it with us. The children sang happy birthday for Auntie Anne and prayed for her. She was surprised to hear the children pray so powerfully and was filled with tears as she thanked the family for such a great reception.

Also, Uncle John Wartemberg of Chicago also celebrated his birthday with the children this month. Uncle John lives in Chicago went through the effort of coordinating with his family in Ghana to visit us and provide us with a special lunch. It was delicious! His grandma personally delivered it. We are so grateful to Uncle John. He has been a great supporter and gives to us regularly. God Bless you Uncle John!

Yaa Asantewaa also celebrated her 3rd birthday this month. Her life has been a big miracle to the Marfo Family. Remember Asantewaa had heart complications at birth. Each week, she had to visit the hospital for screening and medication. By the grace of God, Yaa is looking healthier and stronger each day. Her doctors have been amazed with her transition. These are some of the great things the Lord is doing in the Marfo Family. On her birthday, the family celebrated her in a grand style. She celebrated her birthday both in school and in the house.

DONATIONS Each day God keeps bringing us food, clothes, money and other items for our upkeep. This ministry solely depends on God who uses you all to be a blessing to us. Each time we pray for a need we see God bringing in someone to satisfy that need. We continue the cycle by also giving to other families and homes.
