Note: Applications received after due date will be considered only after the exhaust of
candidates applied before the stipulated date. Further due to lack of time if any
candidate who has not made application and desires to appear for counseling directly
on 2-9-2009, can be considered with spot payment of Registration fee along with
application. For such candidates counseling will done after the candidates who have
applied to DOA before due date.
1. Duration:
The duration of Master of Pharmacy (M.Pharm) Course is of two Years
(four semesters) as per Pharmacy Council of India.

3. Admissions to M. Pharm. Course: (under Convener quota (Self supporting))
Admission under convener quota (self-supporting) will be made for the candidates who
possess Bachelors degree in Pharmacy from AICTE approved institutions with at least 50%
marks or equivalent as per the guidelines of S.K. University following rules of reservation as
applicable. Admission in this category will be made on the basis of percentile score in GATE
first and if no GATE candidate is available then Rank in PGECET-09 will be considered.
Each student has to pay Tuition fees as prescribed by APSCHE, Hyderabad, and University Special
fees, other fees and deposits like Library and Laboratory etc., as prescribed by S.K. University.
Note: In respect of SC, ST and BC the reimbursement will be given by the Government to the extent of
Rs. 20,000/- only. The additional fee is to be paid by the candidate at the time of admission.
*for those candidates whose parent’s annual income from all sources is less than Rs.1,00,000/-.
Candidate has to produce the income certificate from Tahsildar issued in 2009 for availing the fee
concession. Each admitted candidate has to pay an additional amount of Rs.300/- towards
counseling fee.
4. Admissions to M. Pharm. Course: (under Sponsored category)
Admission under sponsored category will be made by the Directorate of Admission (DOA), Sri
Krishnadevaraya University for the candidates who possess Bachelors degree in Pharmacy from
AICTE approved institutions with at least 50% marks or equivalent grade and sponsored
by industries/ colleges/ institutes, without any reservations. Admission is open to all in sponsored
category. Admission in this category will be made on the basis of percentile score in GATE first
and if no GATE candidate is available then Rank in PGECET-09 will be considered. If
candidates are not available with GATE and PGECET-09 rank then admission will be made
based on marks in qualifying examination.
Each student has to pay Rs.2.5 lakhs (sponsor fee) under the sponsored category in addition to the regular
semester tuition fee as prescribed by APSCHE, Govt. of Andhra Pradesh, Hyderabad and university
annual special fees and other fees as prescribed by University.
Each admitted candidate has to pay an additional amount of Rs.300/- towards counseling fee.
All the admitted candidates have to be strictly abide by the rules and regulations
prescribed by the APSCHE, Hyderabad and the University.

7. Other rules and regulations :
All the rules and regulations applicable to S.K. University students in general are also
applicable to the students admitted to College of Pharmacy.
8. STIPEND / SCHOLARSHIP :
• No Stipend/ Scholarship will be paid by the College. However, if the Govt. of
AP or India / AICTE sanctions any Stipend/Scholarship, the same will be paid
to the respective Candidates.
9. GENERAL:
• Applications complete in all respects, accompanied by Demand Draft for
Rs.500/- drawn in favour of “Director, DOA, S.K. University” Payable at
Anantapur as Registration fee must be submitted to the Director, Directorate
of Admissions, S.K. University, Anantapur – 515 003 on or before 31.08.2009.
• Applications received after due date will be considered only after the exhaust

• Fee once paid shall not be refunded, under any circumstances
• The admissions will be subject to all the other conditions being stipulated by
the University/AP State Government.
