Anyone for Tennis?


At the beginning of the week Year 6 had a mini
tennis tournament. Using the skills they had
learnt in lessons with Mr Johnson there were
some fiercely fought matches.

World Book Day


Our postponed World Book Day
celebrations took place this week with
children dressing a potato as a
character from their favourite book.
There w ere some amazing creations
(many of which were shared on
FaceBook), and the most inventive
from each year group won a prize.
Very well done to everyone involved –
particularly Mrs Prescott who
organised such a fun way to encourage
reading.

Looking Ahead:

MARCH
Film Crew in School
Next Monday (12 th March) w e will be visited by a Sun 11 th Individual LAMDA exams in school
film crew who are filming a day in the life of a
young Sikh boy – highlighting his positive learning Tue 13 th Rock Band auditions

activities. Manni (Year 5) will be filmed getting
ready for school at home, then coming into school Thur 15 th Y3 – Y6: LAMDA exams in school

a ‘Discovery RE’ project which is adapting the Fri 16 th French Day (breakfast served from
syllabus for teaching Sikhism within schools and 8.00am in School Hall) *
when finished, the short film will be viewed all
around the country and abroad by schools using Mon 19 th Year 6: Bikeability
