Important Reminder!!

Milestone 2
Due Thursday, November 17, 2011
o All students are required to submit their Milestone 2 in an outline format: During class, we discussed the 7 main criteria for your childs state project. Their eight main topics need to be in Roman Numerals and written in complete sentences: Each Roman numeral (I-VII) needs to be 1-2 sentences in length. Each sub-topic (a, b, c) needs to be 2-3 sentences in length, unless noted otherwise. Please refer below for clarification. o For this Milestone, printed off information from the Internet or copies of pages from books will not be accepted.

Make sure that you write specific names of events or places that you can find in each of the cities. (e.g. museums, festivals, landmarks, beaches, parks, etc) General information like swimming and bike riding are not specific enough.

*Present your vacation information in a creative manner. You could create a travel brochure, TV commercial, or a billboard, just to name a few. Use pictures and drawings to sell your state to potential visitors.
