SPORTS FEST 2018

Introduction: “A sound mind resides only in a sound body”. A healthy and strong body is
not possible without sports and physical activities. Sports does not only teaches
physical stamina but positive qualities like leadership, teamwork, discipline, the
determination to win, willpower.

The role of sports can never be ignored in promoting health and wellness. It tests
our physical strength, mental power, builds fine physique, character formation, and
improves physiological functions.

To our distinguished guests, barangay officials, coaches, board of directors and

PTA Officers, faculty and staff of this institution, students, folks, friends, GOOD
MORNING! This day is marked with great joy and excitement of discovering the skills
and potentials of every learner in the field of sports. WELCOME to SIRINIPAL 2018 with
the theme “Speed and Strength: Roquenians with a Healthy Body and Sound Mind.

To start with, let us all stand to give reverence and honor to the Lord in a prayer
to be lead by Mr. Jose G. Alfonga and to be followed by the singing of the Philippine
National Anthem to be conducted by Mr. Ernie T. Obaga.

Cheering Competition

Every game has an outcome. One entity wins, and the other loses. Winning and losing
is a part of life. Sports inculcate this lesson for us. Losing may dwindle our emotional
strength but let us take our losses with grace and move on to achieve greater things in
the face of difficulties.
