Iodine trichloride can be

create by heating a mixture of liquid iodine and chlorine gas to 105C. It is an oxidizing capable of causing fire on contact with organic materials .

Iodine-131 (131I), also called radioiodine, important

radioisotope of iodine. It has a radioactive decay half-life of about eight days. It is associated with
nuclear energy medical diagnostic and treatment procedures and natural gas production

:
Iodine heptafluoride, also known as iodine(VII)

fluoride or even iodine fluoride It is an interhalogen compound with chemical formula IF7. It has an unusual pentagonal bipyramidal structure, as predicted by VSEPR theory. It forms colorless crystals, which melt at 4.5 C: the liquid range is extremely narrow, with the boiling point at 4.77 C. The dense vapor has a mouldy, acrid odour.

(
Ethyl iodide (also iodoethane) is a colorless, flammable

chemical compound It has the chemical formula C2H5I and is prepared by heating ethanol with iodine and phosphorus. On contact with air, especially on the effect of light, it decomposes and turns yellow or reddish from dissolved iodine. It is also used as the hydrogen radical promoter. Invisible ink, also known as security ink, is a substance used for writing, which is invisible either on application.
