PROPOSAL FOR LEADERSHIP TRAINING FOR THE NEWLY APPOINTED LEADERS

Preamble: The Gods Ambassadors Outreach Ministries Intl is committed to ensuring that the society has people whose lives glorify God thus influencing others, which is the core of leadership. Everything rises and falls on leadership hence the need to have this training. According to Professor Amartya Sen, the Noble Prize winner in Economics the process of development is not primarily one of expanding the supply of goods and services but of enhancing the capabilities of people. In line with the foregoing we have put together a human capacity building and development programme for the newly constituted leadership team. PROGRAMME SUMMARY Programme Focus: The focus of this training is to assist the leaders, the workforce as well as others that may be enlisted, understand the basics of leadership and how best they can work with people as well as grow in their leadership capability. Relevant training modules will be provided that will enhance and update their skills to aid in their functions as leaders wherever they may be found. AIMS: 1. To create an awareness on the Concept of Leadership and its importance. 2. To motivate the leaders to take personal responsibility for their leadership development. OBJECTIVES: 1. 2. 3. 4. 5. Teach and discuss Leadership as a Concept. Discuss the various Leadership Styles and mindsets. Discuss the importance of Leadership and Leadership Development. Discuss Personal Transformation and Habits of Successful People. Discuss the various forms of Leadership Development.

FORMAT: A-five-day training; each day will be divided into morning and afternoon sessions with the morning sessions starting from 9:00am to 11:00am, with an hour break (lunch time) the afternoon sessions start from 12:00noon to 2:00pm. Venue: As will be decided by the Leadership.

Day 5: Growth Process in Leadership Interactive Session.

We believe that when the leaders go through this, we can proceed to the next level of training and further trainings that is aimed at equipping the people of the Lord and the society at large. Thanks
