Time Topics Discussed/Outcomes 9:55 Meeting started and sign in 10:00 Marilyn mentioned the due date for emailing the last 3 IB units, which is December 7, 2012. They should be written, taught & reflected. The due date for quality student work is also December 7, 2012. 10:05 We had a discussion about portfolios and the issues that teachers are having with them currently. Some teachers still do not have enough portfolios for their students. Marilyn said she will come around with binders to get everyone what they need. 10:10 Most teachers do not have pieces in their students portfolios, or if they do they are incomplete still. Everyone is still working towards getting things in them. 10:15 Marilyn spoke about the IB bulletin boards and what they should be consisting of: 1 or more profiles represented, 1 transdisciplinary theme, if 1 profile is chosen you could use 1 or 2 kids pieces per class but if all profiles are chosen there should be 12 total pieces. 10:20 Tour of the building for LP grade level sites. We toured the building discussing different aspects of the layout and location of current bulletin boards. Also, we decided on where each bulletin board will go for each grade level. o KK: Out-cove near the yellow hall water fountains (near office) o 1st: Near the CLUE room, next to Mrs. Harris board o 2nd: Next to Mrs. Carnes board o 3rd: Next to Mrs. Rodgers board o 4th: Next to ESL, across from the US map o 5th: Across from Mrs. Williams board, to the right of the lounge 10:45 Return to quickly debrief the school tour 10:50 End of meeting
