PC BASED REMOTE MATERIAL HANDLER FOR INDUSTRIAL APPLICATION

SYNOPSIS Here we are fabricating the PC based remote material handler for industrial application. The main aim of this project is used to operate the material handling equipment through remote in industrial applications. In industry have some hazardous areas (i.e. boiler, oil and gas tanks etc,..) and this areas material handling is needed in this case remote material handler is used. So our equipment is very useful in this areas and also normal material handling areas in industries.

METHODOLOGY The project consists the following parts Vehicle model

Remote & keypad

Limit switch

 Control unit WORKING PRINCIPLE This equipment contains one vehicle model. The vehicle have motors on its wheel and the vehicle model is contains of column, in this arm is coupled on the column and arm is connected by the motor with spur gear attachment. The arm is limited by limit switches. The end of the arm contains pick hand the pick hand is operated by motor with warm gear arrangements and the pick hand contains limit switch on it. The all above motor and limits switch are control by the control unit with remote with keypad. The pick hand contains two spur gears and one worm gear the worm gear is connected to the motor shaft. The motor rotates forward the pick hand comes in the motor rotates reverse the pick hand goes out. We press the forward key on the remote the vehicle moves forward, and then press the reverse key on the remote it moves reverse; we press the pick key the pick hand picks the specimen. And then we press the release key the pick hand release the specimen. We can easily handle the material by remote in this equipment so this is very useful equipment for industrial material handling applications.
